The Swiss Shooting Talers and medals are extremely popular and collected worldwide. This activity has been part of the Swiss culture for two centuries. This Shooting Festival silver medal is unlisted in Richter and is considered unique. It was only struck with the obverse die and the reverse is uniface. Most likely it was a die trial before the regular silver striking.
