Photo

This century old bronze Egyptian Sarcophagus is detailed with gilt and polychrome enamel. It opens revealing a nude woman, bearing incised "Nam Greb" and impressed "B" within a vasiform mark for Franz Bergman and the base is stamped "AUSTRIA" and "GESCHUTZT." Recently, in a Skinner auction, a similar bronze sold for $3,240.
