Erte created many world famous fashion designs. He painted gouaches in color to depict new styles that captured the world's imagination. Each of these three paintings contain Erte's signature in the lower right corner and his studio stamp, signature, handwritten notes and reference numbers on the verso.
This is a fabulous and unique set of three Erte original gouaches depicting dealers, dancers and gamblers in Las Vegas. Erte was primarily responsible for the entire costume design for Las Vegas showgirls that was prevalent from 1950 to the present. This "look" captured the style used by most of the Las Vegas casinos in their world famous shows.
